Second Light Askar V (this time at 600mm 7.5FL) Carina

Well I must say. In all my years of imaging I've never seen a 2.5 hours of data turn out like this! I've tested the Askar V at 270mm F4.5 which I was really happy with here https://www.iceinspace.com.au/forum/...d.php?t=208726.

But last night I took a meager 2.5 hours of data on the Carina at 600mm f7.5

I think the optics on the Askar V are good

Once I take some more data Ill post a high res but for now this is it!

How cool is the Askar V! all these scopes for the price of one!

For 2.5hrs - this is mint! In fact, this is mint regardless of exposure time, but surprisingly good for such short integration!

Looking forward to more!

Alex. i know right! Like I said, in all my years of imaging I couldn't believe the result from 2.5 hours!! honestly its the scope because I use the same 533 MC pro on othe doublets in the past and its definitely not the camera.

I have got to get myself a dual nb filter so I can use these clear moonlit skies.

That's awesome
