While I can see how more data could be beneficial to this, it's certainly a reasonable effort given what you did.

As someone who is still struggling himself to produce something worthy (or even average) I think more data might produce a result that - no disrespect intended - appeared a little less "coarse". That may be due to the absence of darks and flats, but as I said, I'm still battling away myself.

Thank you Warren.

I keep meaning to calibrate but I just have not worked hard on that part of things..

The flats I tried with the RASA were a disappointment but I must get over that..I have a light panel covered in T shirts ready to go and even an embroidery hoop to cover with a t shirt...and I think it must make a big difference.

But from where I started I am very happy with my images even though I am sure I can do much better...I just seem to have so much to still do with set ups..back focus, mount tunning, etc well it goes on and on and I am trying not to be negative but my age and mobility certainly work against me...but on the bright side I am very determined to keep going.

The image here is a little dull because I did not have much data and I pushed Photoshop just so hard that I surprised myself what came out...it was one of those afternoons where I just kept playing around...it looked ok then but when I looked at it here the next day I could see I had pushed things way too far...anyways each time you play around you get experience I would like to think.

Thanks again.

Alex

I hear you, particularly where age and mobility are concerned. I'm no spring chicken myself.

Struggling with a few backfocus issues myself at the moment. But you're doing significantly better than I am. My compliments!
