This scope was purchased in October 2021 and is the newer version with the slightly shorter ota which I found was very helpful for reaching focus with a reducer without having to screw the reducer directly into the focuser tube. Very clean optics.
I am not selling the reducer I used with this scope (as I will probably get this exact scope again at some point) but I have included a picture of the setup I used with the canon camera to take the ISO 1600 30 second exposure of NGC5139 which I have also uploaded. On the focuser side I used a M54 to M48 adapter attached to the reducer, screwed a M48 tube on the end and straight into the focuser tube. In the picture it is set to the focus position. The reducer I used was the SkyRover 0.8x for the 72 mm refractor they make which I bought from aliexpress for $200 along with the M54 to M48 adapter.
The canon XS / 1000D has a low shutter count of 1,323 and works well with this scope as the 5.7 micron pixels make for a forgiving image scale which I liked since I used the scope on a Star Adventurer. The scope is light and I found it worked very well on the Star Adventurer and could be balanced (scope + camera + reducer + 6x30 finder scope) with the single counter weight that comes standard with the star adventurer. I used up to 60 second exposures unguided and was happy with the tracking.
I have upgraded the dovetail bracket to something that is more robust and secure see attached picture. It provides a very good connection for the 30mm guidescope which is very light. I have used this guidescope with the ASI120MM and in my opinion it works very well.
Comes with the case, camera, t-ring for camera and 30mm guidescope.
Asking $560 with buyer to pay postage.
