New scope - new dark frames required?

I have upgraded my main telescope from a Celestron C6 SCT to a WO Zenithstar 81, as well as replacing the OAG with a separate guide scope. The imaging camera, ASI294MC, had not changed although the length of the optical path has.

I understand I'll need new flats and dark flats (I take a new set every session anyway) but do I need to replace my library of darks for the new setup? My gut feeling is no, but I thought I should check with the experts here.

No.. but it is always a good thing to update darks from time to time (new hot/dead pixels may develop).

For a scope change, no, your darks don't need to be updated (or bias if you use those).

And agreed with bojan. Maybe every 6 months or so, I'd update the darks/bias library.
