Just a whinge....
I use a 220mm fl finder and a DMK51 as an electronic finder on the C11.
I've also just been introduced to "All Sky Plate Solver"

Absolutely majic - does what it says on the box - no issues, no drama
In comparing these finder images with the CdC charts I'm finding many reasonably bright stars (8mag) do not show!!!! What!!
The default Hipparcos catalogue just doesn't seem to cut it - changing to the older Tycho catalogue does indeed show most (all in my case) the missing stars.
Just a heads up to any member who thinks they may have discovered a "new star" in their image.
(does anyone know how to get an annottated overlay showing star names/ HD etc. on these solved images??)
