What is the single most annoying thing about this hobby?

How you doing,

this is a bit of a random question but i was just wondering what you guys found that was annoying to no end, a pet peeve, something you just couldn't solve or anything that is simply a pain in the backside with the hobby? I was thinking the other day and I know mine is the damn clouds that never go away. What about you guys?

Cheers,

Dew. I hate dew. Yes, it's easy to get rid of, but I'd rather I didn't have to.

Also worth a mention is daylight savings in Tasmania. There's precious little night as it is without consigning it to the early mornings.

Seemingly never ending electronics related faults, ranging from faulty
cables, faulty handsets, and faulty motherboards. followed very closely
by clouds, and an antipathetic SWMBO.

Nothing, love it all, even the clouds......
It is so nice when the clouds roll away, it's like a new beginning. Without them there wouldn't be the renewed anticipation of another perfect night.....

The people you meet are great..... they're helpful, resourceful, genuinely interested in the same pursuit......
The quality of equipment available at reasonable prices is fabulous, compared to the relative prices in the late 70s and early 80s.......
The inner peace of being alone at night, taking in the photons and pondering the eons they have travelled just with the sole result of striking my eye at a place and time of my choosing...........

Why would you do anything else.............
