some very early results from duckadang 2006

I have to say I had a ball there and in one night I imaged m16, m17, m8, m20, m31, m33, the tarantula, the helix and m42 just for good measure. Some hit and miss, but I had 3 all nighters from dusk till dawn. Here are some results, I will be processing these for sometime to get things right, but here is just a sample. Taken with a C8 and a ed80 on a eq6 no guiding (have to swork on that one)

Thanks Andrew, do yourself a really big favor, when you get the eq6, get the grease excised and the gearing re lubed and meshed, the last two nights were on my old mount, the others were with the newone. it was spot on the first night but after that it was all over the shop, then I swapped mounts, and went back to the old one, (thanks to ponders for the tuition on drift aligning)

Great results, shows what a dark sky can also do. I think you will find with further careful processing there is a lot more detail in there. Congratulations on getting good weather.

Again great results.

Nice image's Dave,

You can definetly get some more detail out of these images.

I like your Dumbell, Lagoon and Veil nebs the best.
