With a Kp value of 6 (= storm) I left home not much before midnight hoping for a break in the clouds by the coast. Not a cloud in sight when I arrived at Inverloch over an hour later.
The camera revealed a cloud bank on the horizon and definite green and red with an occasional dim shaft of auroral light.
The star reflections in the relatively calm inlet waters add some effect.
