The Australia Telescope Compact Array

On my way home from Starfest in Coona, I spent the night at Narrabri, on the grounds of ATCA.
Despite the Moon, which didn't set until 4ish, I thoroughly enjoyed my time there.
I captured the sunset reflecting off one of the dishes, during the evening I collected data for a time lapse. The Moon illuminating the dishes beautifully.
Once the Moon had set I had just under an hour of completely dark sky to catch as many shots as I could before Jupiter rose, followed not too far behind by the Sun.

Great looking photos and time lapse.

My favourite is the third photo with Orion above the dish.

Ross.

Some terrific images there Jeanette. Makes me wish I'd hadn't chickened out of going.
