My first Mars, from Son, Norway

Captured friday april 4, elevation about 24 degrees. This is at max elevation, so the seeing is poor (which it seems to be constantly at our location).

Celestron 9.25, 2.5x powermate, dbk 21 color camera, cgem mount.

Stacked in AS!2 and processed in registax 6.

Does anyone know what features that are visible in the image?

Thanks for looking

Hi Ornulf,

Good effort. Practice will bring out more detail I am sure, so keep up the imaging!
