Lunar test

Can't say I've tried much high-res lunar imaging....Not as easy as one might first assume. But figured I'd start leaning.

Stephan's image of the same region looks like it was taken from the Lunar Reconnaissance Orbiter compared to my humble effort !

Seeing is all important..and wasn't great at the time of capture.

Peter - you should exceptionally happy with that image! Looks great.

Did you take this with an RC scope? and a deep sky CCD camera?

Have often wondered what RC telescopes would do on the planetary side but guess that RC owners are too busy shooting DS objects.
