Orion Lightning

Took a quick photo the other night when the storms were around. Walked out the back door and saw the lightning lighting up the clouds so quickly took out the camera and took some photos in the backyard. I've seen some amazing pictures with stars and a distant storms. Would love to get one at a better location. Amazing and beautiful to witness non the less. Thanks for looking.
Canon 70D, Tamron 17-50 2.8. Shot at 2.8 for 25 sec. single frame.

You must have whipped that camera out b****y quick to catch the lightning!
I've tried to catch lightning with a tripod and camera and never yet managed it.

I took several frames and chose the best one. The lightning was fairly regular so a 25 second exposure was sure to get one in.
