Astro-imaging can be rewarding....

I was contacted late last year about a few images I took at Uluru, that also happened to do well for me in other forums.

Much to my delight the Voyages resort people have subsequently, seen, liked and used the images in their Uluru resort promotions (so far: SMH, Gourmet Traveller, QF inflight mag, RMW Outback Magazine, Sunday Telegraph) with a *very nice* commercial sweetener for my permission for usage as well .

Voyages resort link the some images is here

Not much more to add other than....

Thanks guys, while I appreciate the sentiment, that's not really I made the post. What we (astrophotographers) do is a little odd...i.e. take photo's *after* the sun goes down.... hence it is nice to see some mainstream exposure of our efforts

Good to see some ROI, Peter, even if it is astronomically small compared to what this pursuit costs us

Even better to see these lovely images getting exposure to a more general audience.

Cheers,
Rick.

So this means you're in the professional category at the Malins now????

Seriously, it's good to see someone making something out of it.

Cheers
