Parrallels ona mac+DSS etc

Yo!
before I commit to buying a new laptop (boo!) I wondered if anyone has used Parallels and DSS etc on a MacBook Pro- if it works would save me a heap of dosh.
I can probably get away with just Maxim Dl, Nebulosity , DSS and APT + TSX. Maybe PHD as well.
I think I have plenty of disc space

I have been using Parallels and Windows 8.1 on my MacBook Pro for a while and haven't had any issues using Maxim DL, TheSkyX or DSS (only used a couple of times).
