Synscan and NexStar

Will a Synscan HC work with a NexStar HC controled mount?

I have both, but just don't want to risk potential damage by experimenting

I am also considering the NexSXW board conversion for a Vixen SXW mount, and would rather use a HC I already have (or simply drive it by laptop)
