This is really frustrating, just trying to upload an avatar.

It's obviously broken, let me know when you've fixed it.

Hi,

I found the same with a smaller avatar file, it just takes a little while to appear.

BTW I enjoy the many clever and amusing avatars here.

Cheers

Is it possible to increase the file size limit to around 50-100kb?

It does get slightly frustrating compressing something to under 25kb.

On a typical page with 20 posts 20x100KB = nearly 2MB worth of avatars loading before you see anything on the page. Page load and navigation would be more frustrating IMHO.

Your Browser doesn't have a cache?

I clear my cache daily. It's good practice. Besides every page will have different avatars. Some forums have unrestricted use of avatars, video sigs, animated gifs, etc... They're sluggish at best.
