Tranquility

Greetings all. Apologies for my lack of activity on here lately. Been having a ball touring the great state of Tasmania. Meet up with some fellow night sky/ aurora photographers Sunday night and managed to get a nice little aurora display. This was taken just as the moon was setting and lighting up the sandstone rocks on the left. This is just a quick edit on my laptop. I'll possibly reprocess this one on my return home in a week and a bit along with the mountain of other images I have accumulated so far.......

You certainly got the better end of the deal than I did Greg. Nice colour in the aurora, similar to what I saw on 1 March at Penola.

Thank you so much everyone Sadly no timelapse from this scene Colin. If the fog hadn't rolled in shortly after this (you can see it coming down the lake in this shot) I probably would have.

Great shot Greg. I like the rock on the side and the reflections in the water a lot. I hope you're entering some images in the Malins this year!
