Hunter Valley Moon 16th May 2013

The moon was very clear and I was in awe of the detailed views through the scope, I kept returning to view the mountains shown here in the cropped image.

Moon:
10 x 1/200sec subs at iso 200
Stacked in Autostakkert
Processed in Registax and Gimp
12" LX200 Scope and Sony Nex-3 DSLR Camera

Nice images Wayne Lots of detail. I love looking at the moon. So many features and detail to explore.

Montes Apenninus. They are up to 5000m high. Spectacular, aren't they?
