No issue here, You need a better aerial and a booster and all is excellent.

reception was great all day and up to about 9pm
slowly got worse - i turned it off and just went back to it now and all i get is blue screens and no signal message
it is as though they have decided, being in the country, we should all be in bed and they have turned off all the transmission towers

Could have been a local tech problem in town.

What is your site line towards town/tower? Looks to me to have a range in the way according to Google Maps, the tower is slightly north of Coffs, about 3kms from town.

You might just be on the reception edge and need a booster or larger mast/antenna.

We had a problem recently at Wiruna with the booster, worked OK during the day, but in the evening went to pieces as soom as the temp dropped a few degrees. The next day climbed the tower and re-terminated the connections, everything came back good. All the rain we had, had obviously caused some wiring issues.

We don't have a decent aerial mainly and lots of streetlight interference at times.
Booster helps a lot

Here in Colac it is intermittant. Better than it used to be though, at times we went days on end with no reception.
Tried updating aerials, booster and cabling all to no avail. About a year ago it improved and is now passable. Only goes down occasionally.

They've just put up a new set of transmitters at Kurrajong Heights to improve reception for western Sydney. That's essentially everyone west of a N/S line following Old Northern Road. It only has 2, 7, 9, 10 and SBS so spinning our UHF antenna 150 deg (we have a clear line of sight to Kurrajong) would lose TVS. No more Schlocky Horror Picture Show or Flesh Air.
