Telescope that will last

Hi Guys,

I am new to Astrophotography and all my life I have wanted a good telescope.

I want to get a telescope that can provide flexibility. Planets, constellations, deep sky objects etc. Want something that is going to last many years.

I have found this puppy -

Celestron C8-SGT

Anyone used it?

Thanks

Brad

Hi Brad , if the price is right , grab it .
I dont own one but I have looked thru quite a few over the years and everyone of them has been very good .
Dont rush into AP so fast , just grab the scope and enjoy what it can show you ( thats a lot! ) first .
Good scopes mate .
Brian.

Thanks for the reply Brian. I won't rush, good idea. I was thinking of maybe just get a tracking mount for the camera to begin with?
