It's all Greek to me

We have had way too much cloud over the last month and a half and I think I have gone a little loopy.

Here is the proof ..... Greek alphabet flash cards for memorising the symbols. The attached word documents are ready to print out for the astro nerd in all of us.

Each group should be printed onto each side of an A4 sheet.

Α α alpha
Β β beta
Γ γ gamma
Δ δ delta
Ε ε epsilon
Ζ ζ zeta
Η η eta
Θ θ v theta
Ι ι iota
Κ κ kappa
Λ λ lambda
Μ μ mu
Ν ν nu
Ξ ξ xi
Ο ο omicron
Π π pi
Ρ ρ rho
Σ σ sigma
Τ τ tau
Υ υ upsilon
Φ φ phi
Χ χ chi
Ψ ψ psi
Ω ω omega

Thanks for going to the trouble of setting out the format and posting here
.
Once I figured out how to orient the paper to print the flip side correctly it came out well on light cardboard sheets.

I had been considering printing the Alphabet onto cardboard bookmarks to have in whichever book I am reading, but it is probably better to try and learn it properly. These flashcards should be a big help.

Michael.

Here are some alternative A4 sheets for those who are interested in memorising the Greek symbols but prefer using a different method.

Michael, attached is a portrait (p) version that could be reduced to an A5 sheet if you would still like a bookmark.

Yep, i've lost it.....

PS. If anyone finds any errors, mention it here and I will update the sheets.

I'm almost embarassed to say that I've still got my list of Greek characters from my high school classes of classical Greek, . One or two differences with modern Greek, but I've modified my list for this too,
