Need a little help on The Mysterious Universe topic

I need a little more understand from you all can let me to understand a bit more about The Mysterious Universe before my exams coming up on Monday. I really appreicate you all help me before then.

I want to know more about red/violet shifts, electromagnetic geostationary and doppler effect. I do know these but i have a couple problems through my last class test eariler this year.

Please help me.

I'm not sure what you mean by electromagnetic geostationary, but Wikipedia have a good description of Redshift.
