Lucky to escape the LP Skies and head Leyburn SE QLD for Thurs Night, clear the whole time and a great show was had. The App 'Meteor Counter' was on at times and registered 38 (excluding sporadics) in one half hr session from 12-12:30am, other sessions were counting low 30's, so was averaging around 70 per hr and I was missing quite a few over the course of the night also !

A couple of approx 50% crops from the 10-20mm sigma lens @ 10mm with Orion at left's !

Great couple of catches. Well worth it to get out of the city lights. Would be great to have some keeper images from a shower.

Hi Steve, a couple of keepers would be nice, these two might be kept tho, was in hope for that brilliant Fireball or two : )
