Recently purchased an Argo Navis and encoders from wildcard innovations. It’s lived up to everything I thought it would be. Installation was easy and the learning curve fairly quick. It’s a brilliant device and has meant that I am now seeing so many more objects. I also was surprised that its increased my enjoyment of the planets - I tend to use a high magnification on Jupiter and Saturn in my 8 inch dobsonian and if I let it drift out of view this could be quite frustrating re-centering in my eyepiece. With the Argo Navis - I just let it guide me back to the planet with the high power in place and boom there it is!
After sales support has been fantastic - Gary has been able to guide me through any questions and also direct me to get up running quickly. His knowledge and ability to troubleshoot where I may have strayed from the manual had been invaluable. Truly stands behind his excellent product.
