My plans are to use this camera with a 200mm Canon L lens and possibly later with a 400mm, as to whether you can use this adapter with filters, I don't really know. That why I got a OSC, didn't want to use filters

Ok thanks. That is annoying for sure and misleading marketing as no where does it say you need another spacer.
Any idea how you would also use your ST-8300c with this adaptor and filters like 2 inch idas .
