New Region 2901 with one small spot has appeared near the Sun’s Eastern Limb.
Regions 2898 & 2900 continue to show significant changes every day, as they begin their approach to the Sun’s Western Limb.
Today, my viewing circumstances were a bit on the weird side. When a small break in the clouds occurred, it was still raining. Nevertheless, I used my 80mm scope in the shelter of a carport and was still able to see detail, even though I was observing through a sun-shower.
