I have a very old Meade LS5 8" classic ota with fork mount for parts.
The mount doesn't turn on (I am quite sure it just needs capacitors to be replaced
) and the OTA doesn't come with the diagonal.
Both the mirrors are in excellent condition
(corrector plate needs a bit of a clean though). Comes with the hand controller (have you seen something like this before
). Has both the motors - RA and DEC.
The tube has some scuffs and scratches on the outer, but ofcourse that doesn't impact the optics.
You could use it as a project or use its parts, up to you! Or put it up on the wall!
