One think I am trying to understand now that manually triggered Autofocusing is working great - now that I know focus decreases by 21 steps per degree temperature change - how to invoke temperature based focus compensation between manually triiggered AutoFocus runs.
I tried to invoke this with every degree temperature change - but haven't see focus shift on my Luminance filter which I use to auto focus on at the start of each nights imaging run.
Does temperature based focus compensation only get triggered when a plan is active?
Edit - I just found my likely culprit going through the manual - I leave Auto Focus Aid open all night - howvere the APT manual states "Note that temperature compensations will not be applied when
Focusing Aid,
Auto Focus Aid or
Bahtinov Aid are open."
That caught me by surprise!
