Does the X have a slow cooker, they are great for a number of dishes. I frequently do a beef casserole........approx., 1kg of chuck (casserole) steak, 3 spuds, 2 carrots, celery and of course a good sized onion, peas and a parsnip. Bigger vegies are diced to chosen size (don't try to dice peas
). Liquid and powdered stock, (liquid is good instead of water BUT powdered enhances the flavour more), curry powder to taste. Methodology is important but the end result is good, hearty food that can be split and frozen for future use.
I could give you a spag recipe using chuck steak and spices rather than mince
