Vixen SPDX mount + tripod
Missed out on buying a Custom80M to put on this classic mount so it is now up for sale. This is the heavy duty version of the famous super polaris mount.
It comes with the 115cm wooden tripod, 2 cwts, 8lb, 4lb. Both RA and Dec motors (dec motor cable needs repair/replacement) and the DMD3 controller. Also Vixen plate, spare flex cable etc.
A home made box holds the mount and accessories.
Mount tracks well in RA.
All this cost me $2300 back in in 1991. (receipts available)
I hope there is a Vixen collector out there $500 will buy this mount.
(I have to add that this mount has been well used over the years - it is in good condition but not mint)
