There still seems to be some confusion as to how to sign into myCFN as a member or a supporter. Just click on your login link and you're in. The authentication is automated.
We've made it so easy for you that you don't have to remember your password or even make one up. All you have to do is remember the email address you've used to contact us or fill in the survey.
From there on the site will generate your profile and send you an encrypted login link to get in. Simple as that.
If you happen to lose your login link or password just go to cloudfreenigth.com and click on the little myCFN icon (top right next to the moon phase) then on the link that says "
Forgot your password?" on the same page.
Enter your email and a new link will be sent to you. Click on it and you're in. Once you're in you can go and change your password but you don't have to if you don't want to. Just use the link. If you email us asking for your password we can't give it to you because we don't know it and it is encrypted.
Now best thing about the encrypted link is that you can bookmark it, add it to your desktop or to your home screen on your computer, iPad, iPhone, Android Tablet, etc... It is easier to click on an icon and let myCFN do all the hard work for you rather than going to cloud free night, login with your email and password then go and check your map or meteogram.
myCFN has a built-in profile for each user. You can select and customise your locations list, your default home page and more. So make your life a lot easier. Use it. It's all in your profile settings.
PS: Really there isn't any good reason for using cloud free night as a public user. You are missing out on a whole lot of functionality. Registration is also free. We need a registered email so we can identify you as a user and remember your custom settings as well as providing you with a 'one click' easy login. That's all. Some of you may feel the survey is intrusive so let's clarify a few things.
1) we don't ask any personal details.
2) we only ask questions about what you use or don't use on CFN so we can improve in areas that are popular and not waste time on features nobody wants.
So if you are currently using the site as a public user, do yourself a favour. Log in and enjoy a much better service still for free.
