February 7th, 8.05am.

Region 2939 still features the largest spot along with a four small spots. Also in the south is New Region 2942, which is close to the Western Limb and only has a few small spots.

In the Northern-Central area, Region 2940 is still prominent with 2 medium and an array of small/tiny sized spots.

Region 2941 has a pair of medium sized spots surrounded by a common umbra, which makes it look like a large spot. Also visible is another, more widely separated pair of medium spots plus a number of small spots.


I have edited this on February 8th, as I had an old-timer's lapse and mixed-up what was north and what was south.
