Thumbs up M16 CDK17 data from pristine skies

Here's some data made freely available from Martin's CDK17 in remote operation if you want to download and have a go at processing it. Not often you get data of this quality and it's fun to play with. You'll end up with a great reference image to compare to your own best efforts.

The data is comprised of 45 minutes each LRGB and 2 hours of Ha and is pre-calibrated.

Now of course, this is not the BEST data this scope produces from that location, you get that when you subscribe 😉

Post your results in the Deep Sky section, would love to see the results.

cheers and have fun with the data.

Thanks for the data Martin. It was fun playing with. Amazing tiny stars at that FL. Didn't use the Ha channel. I tought the Lum was excellent as is and like it better.
