I thought I would share some happy snaps of the relocation of my observatory to Harts Road. The first shot shows the completed observatory which is located up the driveway, upper left. I have a wifi link to the house. So apart from unbolting the high wind restraints for the dome I can run it from the house. So far that is working well. The second is a mockup of the pier. I know people love to overengineer their piers. My experience is standard reo and concrete works fine. I have added to the solar panels, and I had to extend the windbreak.
