Dob, EQ newt, ETX Mak, Short tube refractor. Clearly, I have a problem. I also have eyepiece-itis: I own well over a dozen EPs, but I use mainly the same two or three over and over. (I think newbies often go eyepiece crazy, whereas you should be VERY selective about what you buy when you're first starting out. It's not necessarily the nagler that gets the biggest workout.)
Of course, there are four potential answers to the poll. There's what you paid for it, there's what you could realistically sell it for, there's what you'd tell your partner, and then there's what you'd tell the insurance claims inspector if any of it was stolen.
For a long time I was happy with just my dob and plossls, which would now cost about $550.
