very interesting these comparisons of different cameras with noise. And also the responses with the SXh16 through the Astronomik rgb filter set.
I was a bit concerned when Terry had no choice but to go with the Kodak chips 'cause Sony wasn't making mono chips at these sizes only Bayer matrix colour chips. I thought, mmm will this mean darks will have to be taken.
Now I can see that a sigma combine would have no dramas... great.
Also the good and even light transmission over lap between r-g-b.
It has been my intention to buy the H16 purely as it is a good size chip for my setup as I won't have to step up to the 50mm filters and no worries with my 2" focuser, also the FOV won't be way to large for those smaller objects!
