Yes we have bought quite a few full sized refurb Dells for work, and for home. I bought an i7 for home with 500GB HDD and added a 1tb Samsung EVO SSD separately and cradle to mount the regular HDD.
One thing that you should do (if fitted) is replace the cmos backup battery, in the desktops its a 2032 lithium, if the existing one is nearly exhausted you may find the machine won’t boot and you’ll need to replace the CR2032 and adjust the bios to get it running again.
