Thanks Jeff, that gives me something to think about.

An extension tube for visual I can live with.
I guess 3 ways to go about it...
1. spacers on the mirror cell/collimation screws??
2. cut down the mirrors tube length...yikes on a brand new scope!!
3. shift the secondary/focuser down.
Some of those options on a scope I haven't even got home yet are a bit scary but if the needs must...
