Modification notes from retailer

The modification is removal of the OWB & antialiasing filters which leaves only the IR/UV cut off. 4x more h-alpha light reaches the sensor than with an unmodified Canon camera, this is a considerable boost in sensitivity and sharpness.

The sensor is realigned to compensate for this modification so that infinity focus and autofocus will work as normal, the mod is essentially transparent, the only extra steps needed are for regular photography as the images have a red tint to them due to the increase in red light hitting the sensor. You can deal with this very easily either with a custom white balance or in post processing.
