The sun on 24/1/2022 from Melbourne

Second try with our new Lunt 40. AR2934 still visible and a number of prominences.
Ambient temperature at the time of imaging was 34C and the camera got to 52.5C - way too hot! Definitely need to make a heat shield for the cameras.
On our previous set up the camera was in line with the scope and therefore shaded by it and much cooler.
Due to the diagonal on the Lunt, the camera cops the full blast from the sun.
These first images are just desaturated from colour images as both cameras are colour.
