Angry A timely reminder for old hands and newbies.

Check your settings before walking away from the camera ..... 3 times. Check your settings .... all of them! Cos you never know what you might have inadvertently/clicked clicked on. Like selecting 2x binning accidently in the autosave dialog box in Maxim.

15hrs (3 precious clear dark nights, 90 subs @10min ea) of M104 shot to hell. Only found out just now when I tried to process them in DSS.

And when you've checked your settings, check the fits header window of your first image before walking away.... jic!

Same applies to using DSLR ..... medium jpeg with BT mask still on. 2 hrs of M31 taught me that one a couple of years ago. Pity the lesson didn't transfer across.
