Exactly... Video on a point and shoot is very limited due to the cheap lenses and digital zoom... imagine video with a 70-200 F/2.8 or a 300mm F/2.8 Could be a nice experience... Not to mention what you could do with a 10.5mm fisheye...
Alternatively, Planetary imaging may be possible through a telescope + DSLR now... It would be worth trying in any case...
