Take an image with it on and off and see if you can notice the difference. CCD cams are sensitive to IR but use IR filters but I imagine none completely block IR.
I used to worry about Laptop monitors showing up in images but I can't say I have ever really noticed in images. Most scopes have a dew shield and it pretty much blocks out everything except the target object in the sky.
Of course if you are using a CDK and leave the shroud off it may be more susceptible to bouncing light off of a wall etc.
