It's difficult to determine sometimes, I generally align the RGB histogram in DSS and when I go through the steps processing, the colour is what it is. It can be hard to change it although the green seems always the colour I find needing to be reduced the most.
As a guide I try to emulate images that best represent the object. This I find challenging. This shot was taken with a full modded Canon 60d and is very sensitive to ha. I'll try toning down the red Raymo,
