Partial eclipse from Monkey Mia

The eclipse was close to 94%.
We were on a bus trip around WA with about 28 other people.
I had packed a 8 x 50 finder and solar filter -just in case.
When we got to the telegraph station near Monkey Mia the eclipse had already started.
The tour guide told everyone NOT to look at the Sun as they would be permanently blinded!!
The shadows from the trees clearly shown the eclipse phase.
I projected the eclipse image with the finder.
Everyone appreciated the view - something they had never seen before!
No-one suffered any eye damage in the making of this report.
