The seeing has improved even further! I can see the hexagon on Saturn's pole, definitely catching the Ence division and several other ring divisions, including the crep ring, multiple bands on the disc of Saturn, looks bloody awesone at 750X! Haven't seen Saturn this well since viewing it through the 9" Oddie refractor on Mt Stromlo many years ago but this time minus the blue/violet colour fringing
. Then Jupiter, well it is only 30deg up at this stage but why not?..hit it with 750X....sheesh! Look at that Great Red spot, right in the middle of the planet in that equatorial band!.. with what looks like another smaller spot, or tight festoon?..,diagonally right next to it...? This is going to only get better, as these two planets rise higher in the sky... I can tell
