My Bintel 6” f6 is nearly 4 years old now , I think the dual speed focuser cost me around $120 but could be a bit more now ( if your doing AP it’s a must and a small investment ) The scope is the cheapest item in your rig , accessories are expensive in comparison. My 6” f6 rig fully set up cost me around $1800 and my latest rig the 8” f5 rig cost me around $2,200 . Newts are the cheapest way to go plus I don’t do wide field , my Canon 600D APS-C covers most objects in the night sky ( with exception of huge nebulas like Running chicken and Carina etc ..., I can frame about 65% of these )
Lagoon Nebula fully framed
Orion Nebula fully framed
M17 fully framed
M16 fully framed
Tarantula Nebula about 70% framed
Rosette Nebula fully framed
All globs fully framed
All galaxies fully framed
And the list goes on ....
My 6” had a focal length of 900mm and the 8” has a focal length of 1000mm
I think a 6” f5 has a focal length of 750mm so you have a bit more field than me
Cheers
