I took Raymo’s advice years ago and bought a GSO 8” f5 newt for my EQ6-R and never looked back after 4 years of AP
The 8” f5 newt is such a versatile all round performer and a snack to collimate
Although mine now sits in a Dome , I haven’t needed to re collimate it after 5 months of use ( I check it every second session)
