May as well join this ongoing thread too as a fellow struggler. This issue is a real problem of the NEQ6 Mounts. There are 2 options; The Dark Frame Optics Rail Mod Kit or the EQ6 wedge mod option. Both are IMHO extremely expensive for what you get, but this hobby is not in a million years a cheap one. Dark Frame Optics rarely have stock, never responds to queries and if they do it's the standard "Sorry.... will notify... thanks for contacting..." BS.
The DFO rail kit is a real good mod and the preferred choice.
If anyone on here knows of an alternative supplier of the rail kit or perhaps willing to share "to scale" drawings with dimensions (mates rates or small compensation) so IIS members can fabricate their own kits, that will be awesome.
