Having moved to a near-city apartment, I sadly find that I just can’t find a convenient place to set up and use this telescope, so I must now reluctantly part with it.

The telescope is in very good condition, fully functional, and comes complete with Field Tripod, powered double-fork mount and AudioStar handset (with over 30,000 object library, and multiple “guided tours”), 8x50 finder scope, 90 degree diagonal, x0.63 focal reducer, a basic set of eyepieces and filters, and a dust cover (enabling the telescope to be stored fully-assembled between viewing sessions). The telescope has been fitted with “Bob’s Knobs” for easy collimation.

The mount has a GPS receiver, enabling easy 3-point star alignment when it is set up. The mount can be powered by 8xC batteries, or can be connected to a car battery charger or similar for longer running times. The mount legs are showing slight surface rust through the chrome, but the telescope is otherwise in excellent condition.

I am looking for local pick-up in Kelvin Grove (Brisbane) – I don’t have a shipping case for it, and I wouldn’t feel comfortable shipping it.

Asking price is $1,500 for the complete set.
